Create Silver Metallic Text Effect in Photoshop

Create a Blank Doc. In Photoshop of Size 600px by 400px

Now double click the back ground layer to unlock it

Press OK

Now double click the layer again to open the layer styles window

Choose the Color overlay and choose the following color #454545 as background color

Now go to layer and then go to smart objects then “select convert to Smart Object”

The resulting layer will look like this

Now go to Filter>Noise and select add noise

And Choose the following settings as shown in the illustration

The Resulting image will look like this

Now make a new layer 1

And with the help of Elliptical Marquee Tool make an elliptical selection and fill it with white color

 

Now go to Filters and go to Blur and then Select Gaussian Blur and choose Blur Radius of 73px

Now choose the layer blending mode to overlay

Now the resulting image will look like this

Now take test tool and choose white foreground color and write your favorite text, you may like to use broad fonts, I have used Arial Back 80px

I have used two text layers to write this

Now double click on one of the text and open the layer style window

Choose Gradient Overlay

Now choose the black gradient pointer and change the color from black (#000000) to #e5e5e5 of both the extreme pointers

 

 

Both Gradient Pointers must have same color as #e5e5e5

Now Press Alt key on the PC and slide one of the pointers, you will get a duplicate pointer, now do the same to the other and change their colors to #ffffff (i.e. white) and slide the position of the pointers as shown in the illustration below

Now create to more pointers and change their colors to #d1d1d1; and position them as shown in the illustration below

In the layers style now choose the Bevel and Emboss and use the settings as shown in illustration below

Now chose Drop Shadow and use the settings as shown in the illustration below

Press OK and the Resulting text will be Silvered Metal Styled

Now go to layers in the top menu of the Photoshop and then go to layer styles and select copy layer stye

You can also right clikc the text layer to open the option menu and select copy layer style

Then Right click on the other text layer and paste layer style

The Resulting image will look like the image below
